Microsoft announced a long-anticipated re-org, simplifying its seven divisions into three, focused on Windows, Office, and Games.

Oracle Corporation is holding its annual Oracle OpenWorld event at San Francisco’s Moscone Center this week.

The Eclipse Foundation has announced that mobile telephony leader Nokia has joined the foundation and will also serve as a board member.
